What a busy week we’ve had! I am finding it hard trying to remember all of the different things we have done as we’ve simply done so much!
This week we have really been getting ready for Christmas and have done some fantastic work on Joseph for our school Jesse tree- which is looking great! On Monday we made comic strips of the Christmas story and today we have done a recount of the story in our own words. I was really impressed by Ibrahim and Peter’s writing today- you are both trying hard. Keep it up.
We have been doing problem solving in Maths this week and I have been massively impressed by Jaya’s persistence. She does not always find it the easiest; but always tries her best which is all a teacher can ask for! Don’t ever loose your wonderful attitude to your learning. I am proud to have you in our class.
Today we had our goldbook assembly. I was delighted to be able to enter Lisa, Jaya and Rhys into this term’s book. Lisa is a pleasure to have in our class and I am so pleased she has joined our school. She has such a kind and caring nature. Jaya is an all round superstar with a super attitude and Rhys has been trying brilliantly hard in his writing which has been great to see. Rhys has taken great pride in co-running his lunchtime club and has shown fantastic teamwork skills.
Next week we have an awful lot on! We have our Carol service on Wednesday, our Christmas party on Thursday and on Friday our Christingle service…so make sure you get plenty of rest over the weekend!
Have a great weekend 🙂
