What a chilly week it has been! We have had lots of fun playing in the snow at break and lunchtimes. We have been getting well and truly into our Egypt topic; doing a fantasic big write on the Pyramids and learning all about the River Nile.
We have been doing some super work on addition and subtraction in our maths lesson and was really impressed by the different methods the children used. I was really pleased with Peter when we did our lesson on missing number problems.
Our stars of the week this week are Cairan and Lisa. Cairan has been an absolute star since we have been back from Christmas. I simply cannot believe how much he has grown up and it is showing in his work! His writing is improving so much and I am really pleased to have him in our class. Lisa is an absolute please to teach. She is so kind to the other children and always as helpful as she can be. Keep it up both of you. 🙂
Have a fantastic weekend in the snow- wrap up warm!
