We have had so much fun today dressing up as Roald Dahl characters! Thankyou to all of the children that made a super effort dressing up.
We have had a busy old week- we have been continuing our Tudors topic; which I am thoroughly enjoying! We have some talented historians in the class so it always makes our lessons fun and interesting.
We have been learning all about Islam in R.E. and we have been fortunate enough for Hamza and John to bring in some real artefacts for us to look at during our lessons.
Our Big Write this week was an account of the Battle of Bosworth; through the eyes of Henry VII. I have been really impressed with what i’ve read so far. Carla’s is fantastic; stay tuned to see it posted on here next week.
Our star of the week this week is Hamza- simply for his fantastic attitide to school, his friendship towards the children in the class and his consistent hard work. I am so proud and happy that he has joined Year 4.
We worked so hard this afternoon that we ran our of time for show and tell so show and tell will be on Monday. Remember, Year 4 will not be in school on Tuesday and homework is due back in on Thursday.
Have a fantastic weekend and enjoy this Autumn sunshine!
