This week has been such fun! We have worked our socks off to design and make purses. I have been blown away by some of the amazing sewing skills that have been displayed (I think some are even better than my own sewing!)
In literacy this week we have continued looking at traditional poetry and had a brilliant time memorising Eleanor Farejon’s ‘Bedtime’…as ever, the thespian qualities in the class shone through!
In maths this week we have been busy adding fractions and moving onto improper and mixed fractions. Everyone has tried their best and I have seen some fantastic progress over the course of the week.
Next week is our last week before half term. We will be busy starting our new literacy topic on play scripts and looking at 3D shapes in maths. Our golf session was unfortunately cancelled this morning so we have golf next week on Friday instead.
Have a wonderful weekend and make the most of this fantastic sunshine!
Miss Nicholson 🙂
